About Școala Web
Școala Web (Web School) is a heartfelt project by Programming Gurus, which is part of why we call ourselves Programming Gurus. Through this initiative, we aim to share our experience in web development and programming in general to the Romanian audience.
The History of Școala Web
While others brag about what they have, Cornel brags about what he knows. He created the Web School blog at scoalaweb.com in 2010 while he was still a student. Later, as an employee, he couldn't post anymore, and the project was left behind.
In 2021, the Școala Web YouTube channel was launched, but time was still limited, and he couldn't create much content.
In 2022, Programming Gurus was founded to provide a legal framework for forming a team dedicated to Școala Web.
We launched the website scoalaweb.ro in 2024. Currently, we are exploring ways to continue funding the project.

What technologies have we used

We can modify any part of the content using a well-known CMS (Content Management System).
The lessons on the site are comparable to those on other specialized eLearning platforms, but they look much better.
We have integrated a search engine into the site using Algolia.
